Free Mindfulness Exercises For Coronavirus Sanity

Dear friends,

"You should sit in meditation for twenty minutes every day — unless you’re too busy. Then you should sit for an hour." - Zen proverb

With coronavirus anxiety running high, it's understandable that we do everything we can to to think ahead, plan, analyze the facts, etc.

But when our head-based fight-flight-freeze
reactivity gets the best of us, it's much harder to stay grounded, think clearly, respond with care, and sleep well at night.

My strong recommendation:
DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF MEDITATION THAT YOU NORMALLY DO

For your mental and physical resilience, please consider the following:
- Mindfully Dealing with COVID 19
- Coronavirus Sanity Guide (from 10% Happier)
- Self-Compassion Practice (#3 in the playlist)
- How to Find Peace Amidst COVID-19 (Tim Ferris w/ Jack Kornfield)

If you're not meditating at all recently, then consider these Short Meditations.

Again, please DOUBLE the amount of self-care that you normally give yourself, including DOUBLING your normal amount of meditation.

This will help you to:
- think more clearly in times of stress,
- stay grounded in your body (and get out of your own head), and
- find that precious sleep that's needed to strengthen your immune system.

I hope this helps you during these difficult times.

Please forward this to anyone you think could benefit from it.

Wishing you and your family health, safety and love,
